Hello! My name is Emma Lamont and I am a stage manager based out of Kjibuktuk (Halifax)

Nova Scotia. I've worked with companies in Nova Scotia such as Neptune, Shakespeare by the Sea, Opera NS, Two Planks and a Passion, and more. I've also worked as an assistant stage manager in Toronto with Hart House Theatre and the Toronto Fringe. My work as a stage manager focuses on supporting safer spaces for artists of all kinds, and ensuring the rehearsal, tech, and performance process of productions is as welcoming as possible. I graduated in 2024 from Dalhousie University's Fountain School of Arts in the Technical Theatre program with a specialization in stage management.

As well as stage management, I have worked in theatres as a sound designer and a lighting assistant, and have experience in prop and scenic construction shops.
